Our body functions like a hardware and brain as software, both components makes a set of the human body system. CSIR-CEERI, Pilani host of Smart India Hackathon (hardware edition) organised a yoga session for all participants in the main lawns of the Institute, to make the hardware and software of the body strong. For this session, Mr. Dharmaveer Singh, Yoga instructor of Birla Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy was invited.
After the yoga session Prof Santanu Chaudhury, Director CSIR-CEERI, Pilani said that yoga is the panacea for the body and brain, it is the single practice which develops the body and brain simultaneously. Yoga day celebrated every year on 21 June since 2015, it is globally accepted day in the world, conceptualized by Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
On the Second day of Grand Finale round of Smart India Hackathon – 2018, the work of the participating teams was evaluated in the first round by the jury members of the Smart India Hackathon-2018 (Hardware Edition). The leadership session was organized at 6:15 pm for the benefit of all the participants. In this session, all the student participants of the Hackathon-2018 were addressed through Video Conference by Mr. Vish Sahasranamam, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Forge Company.
Three teams from Indian School of Engineering, New Delhi, ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad and JSS Academy of Technical Education, NOIDA are also participating in this Hackathon.
The topic of the discussion was “Pitch right, Right Pitch”. CSIR-CEERI, Pilani and all other 9 Centers of the Hardware Hackathon-2018 were all linked to this lecture via Video Conferencing. In addition to CSIR-CEERI, Pilani the other prestigious institutions of the nation where the Hackathon-2018 is being organized on different areas are IISc Bangalore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, NIT Trichy, IIT Guwahati, College of Engineering Pune, Forge Accelerator Coimbatore, XLRI Jamshedpur.
